What a subprocessor is
A subprocessor is another company that processes personal data on our behalf so that we can run the service. We remain responsible for what they do.
Each of them is bound by an agreement that holds the data to the same standard this site describes.
Subprocessors we use
Every company that processes personal data for us appears in this table. For this website, and the enquiries it sends us:
| Subprocessor | Address | Purpose of processing | DPA and prohibited use and other policies | Products using the subprocessor | Data storage location | Data usage | Processed data |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States | Serves this website, holds its DNS and mail routing, and counts its visits. | Data processing addendumWebsite and online services termsSubprocessor list | This website | Its global network. The DPA allows processing outside the EEA under the standard contractual clauses. | Serves pages to visitors, forwards mail addressed to us, and counts visits in aggregate. Both serve this website only, and neither sees customer data.
Subprocessors in the product
The product uses its own providers, such as the cloud infrastructure it runs on and the model providers a customer chooses. They will be listed here before any customer data reaches them, and this list forms part of what a customer signs up to.
Changes to this list
The list grows as the service does. Where a customer’s agreement promises notice of a new subprocessor, we give that notice before the change takes effect, and the customer may object as the agreement allows.
